Beetlejuice Animation
Motion Graphics
I was assigned the task of designing and developing an animation for a Beetlejuice movie trailer in Adobe Illustrator. For this project, I allocated three weeks in total: the first week for brainstorming rough ideas, the second week for development, and the third week for finalizing the design.

At the beginning of the project, I wasn't sure what I wanted to create, so my first step was choosing a song, this helped me establish a timeline for specific animations to match the beats of the music. Next, I focused on developing scenes. I watched the movie multiple times to generate ideas and realized that the scenes with the most visual impact were the car crash and the sandworm chase. After identifying those scenes, I moved on to incorporating the actors' segments. As I moved into week two, I began replacing designs that weren't cohesive with my overall aesthetic. I also focused on layering more elements into the scene, including both background and foreground elements. By week three, I felt prepared for success; my main task was to ensure that the animations synced well with the beat and that the elements weren't laggy or lacking detail. In the end, I was very pleased with the final outcome.
