Fallaway is an independent film exploring identity, intimacy, and the difficult space between living authentically and protecting the life you have built. What begins as an awakening quickly becomes a battle of wills, as Giovanni is forced to confront the consequences of silence and the possibility of living and loving openly. With every choice comes the risk of losing the parts of himself he has worked hardest to protect. For an independent production, the visual identity surrounding a film becomes an important part of how its story enters the world. The campaign needed to capture the emotional tension of Fallaway while creating a visual presence that could translate across promotional materials, screenings, and audience touchpoints.

Studio Kaialoa developed the film's visual campaign through the design of its movie poster and supporting marketing materials, creating a cohesive visual language that reflects the film's themes of vulnerability, conflict, identity, and self-discovery. The work was approached as an extension of the film itself, using graphic design to build anticipation while giving audiences an immediate sense of the story before they entered the theater. The project extended beyond the campaign and into the physical experience of the film's release. Studio Kaialoa also produced a red carpet screening, creating an environment where the visual identity could come to life through the event experience and connect the film, its creators, and its audience.

Together, the campaign and screening transformed Fallaway from a film into a cohesive cultural experience, demonstrating how thoughtful branding and event design can give independent productions a stronger presence both on screen and in the world around them.
