During my internship at Shawback Design, I noticed that the company did not have business cards for either of its brands, Shawback Design and Brightbound. I offered to create mock-up business cards for both brands. For Shawback Design, I designed a card using a black and white colorway, while for Brightbound, I incorporated imagery and used a predominantly black colorway.

Through this project, I learned three key lessons: first, creating a grid is the most important initial step in the design process; second, a logo only needs to be presented once; and third, typefaces are an extension of a brand and should be chosen carefully.
