WHO WE ARE

Studio Kaialoa was founded in 2024 by Graphic Design student Kian Kaialoa. We are a visual branding studio designed to support the Bay Area’s vast number of new businesses and startups. We create brand-driven experiences that show our clients ‘ stories in their truest forms.

Our founder grew up in Napa Valley, CA, surrounded by nature, luxury, and craftsmanship, where experience is the selling point. From vineyards and fashion to art, he was exposed early to spaces and brands that valued storytelling, intention, and quality design. That foundation shaped how he saw visual identity, not as a decoration, but as an experience.

His interest in design developed through hands-on work with local luxury boutiques, where he collaborated on creative projects spanning photography, campaign design, and visual direction. ​He is currently pursuing a BFA in Graphic Design at the Academy of Art University, where he was awarded the Presidential Scholarship. Through his academic work and professional practice, he’s worked with numerous businesses, schools, stores, premiering movies, and community leaders in the city hall building, full brand identities through invite-only events, marketing packages, and brand/print design.
