THE POSTCARD PROJECT:
SUSPENDED THOUGHT
What is it?
Suspended Thoughts is an installation pop up developed by my client and branded by Kian Kaialoa Design. You are encouraged to write a postcard using prompts or your own thoughts. When you finish writing, put the postcard in the submission box and one month later, your postcard will be mailed back to you, offering a moment to pause, reflect, and reconnect with your past self. The installation blends reflection and participation, allowing you to explore not only others' perspectives but also your own evolving aspirations and thoughts.
INSTALLATION IMPLEMENTATION

SHACK15 invited my client and I to their artist showcase. To emphasize the purpose of the Postcard Project, we created an intimate space for relaxing, writing, and reflecting, my client built a beautiful chandelier of cascading postcards from the past while I focused on the layout of the space, I organized a "reading & writing nook" with comfy chairs, plants, and coffee table perfect for relaxing and writing, the goal was to create a cozy space for the audience to immerse themselves within the space and compose a postcard.
THE FINAL PRODUCT
I curated a selection of print media content, including business cards, postcards, informational sheets, and QR codes. I collaborated closely with my client throughout each design phase, making sure to understand and emphasize her vision in every step forward. Additionally, I oversaw the printing process, including paper weight, quality, and embossing, which alloweed my client to focus on preparing for the artist showcase with peace of mind. In the end, the event was a huge success with many sign-ups, and my client was very pleased with the final product.
